Google Removes 'View Image' Button from Image Search to Protect Photos

Google has removed the “View Image” button from its Image Search results that had allowed anybody to rapidly download the original image record while bypassing the host website page. This is a stage Google is taking to help secure picture takers’ copyrights. The “view picture” option has long frustrated picture takers and publishers who say their work is stolen when individuals download photographs through Google’s internet searcher.
